Saturday in the A.M.

Good morning! It was 2 degrees when we awoke, but the sun has been up for over an hour now - and it's still 2 degrees. Ah, Spring!

Diet update: my weight loss has slowed some, but I've lost 32 pounds thus far. My goal weight is finally in sight. :^)

My agenda for the day begins with an annual eye exam. After that, I shop for a new flashlight... can't you feel the excitement?

Have a wonderful day, friends; thanks for stopping by.

I'm curious.

Besides the normal benefits: more energy, new clothes, etc,... has this helped your dependency on insulin? or is that a lost cause in your particular case?

Matt, I'm insulin-dependent, so that doesn't change. I do have to reduce the amount I take, because fat interferes with insulin absorption; less fat, less insulin needed. But it won't ever go away, barring a divine miracle. (And that could happen!)

Pretty impressive. . . that weight loss.
And yes . . . I can feel the excitement.
Sunshine and 2 degrees would get my adrenaline goin' :)

Congratulations on the weight loss. It's never easy. I ate well all week, looks of salad and after a shift where I got 2 and a half hours of sleep, breakfast the next day was caffeine and a large order of onion rings.

Thanks, Cathy. Yes, the air was brisk, this morning. :)

Brigid, thank you. I spent a couple of years with that kind of schedule, in my late 20s, and it wasn't easy then. Now would be a killer.
