The nighttime temp managed to stay above freezing again, and the sun is shining. Some may wish it were warmer, but with a forecast high in the mid-50s, it will be plenty warm enough for those of us who are acclimated to this cooler climate. 60 degrees isn't far away.
Our days are already quite long. For those who care, sunrise today was 5:30am, and sunset will be at 10:23 pm. We're gaining nearly six minutes daily as we rush toward the summer solstice. I love this part of life here!
It doesn't appear that my day will be as busy as of late. My thoughts keep turning to the sunshine outside, and wanting to try out the new Escape on something more challenging than asphalt. Ah, well ... there will be time for that.
Y'all have a great day. Thanks for stopping by, friends.

Really, you should climb into the Escape and well, do so.
The thought has crossed my mind, Stephen. It truly has. :)
WOW what I could get done with that much daylight.
Preppy, this is still a short day by June standards. On the solstice, we'll have over 22 hours of broad daylight, with only about 90 minutes of twilight. You could easily mow the grass at midnight ... given some very understanding neighbors. :)
Rev. Paul,
I can only imagine planting a vegetable garden there and how well it would do with all the sunshine.
Get into your Escape and take it out, have some fun. But please be careful, no more turning vehicle over!!!!
Sandy, we have only a 100-day growing season ... but the veggies grow like crazy! (i.e., 750 lb cabbages & 1,100 lb pumpkins at the State Fair in August)
Re: the Escape, I'm resolved to keep the dirty side down. :)
