Stupidity on Parade

Police Arrest 2 Homer High Students in Fake Bomb "Prank"

Homer police arrested two Homer High School students Thursday after they allegedly left a fake bomb inside the building, causing its temporary evacuation.

A Homer Police Department statement says police took Zachary Fraley, 18, and a 16-year-old boy into custody on charges of first-degree terroristic threatening, after school officials identified them as the perpetrators.

“Both stated they had done so as a ‘prank,’” officers wrote.

“Investigation revealed that an object appearing to be an explosive device had been left in a stairwell area inside the school,” officers wrote. “School officials moved the object and examined it prior to the arrival of police officers. The school was searched and no other devices were found.”
So a movie chain in Missouri has "fake" gunmen in tactical gear invading a theater, and here we get a couple of air-headed teenagers thinking that a fake bomb would be funny.

Jesus commands His followers to love everyone, but there are days when I don't like some of 'em very much.

It makes you wonder if stupid is increasing or it's just that we hear about it easier.

I suspect it's just the easier access to the 24-hour news cycle.

I've been watching the neighborhood boys - ages6 and up- over the last few days.

It just seems boys' brains are wired for ornery.

Cathy, that's the honest truth.
