And Now For Something Completely Different (UPDATED)

I'm off to the dentist, to fix a small cavity. Never a favorite thing to do, but at least this one's not a major procedure.

Ah, well, it'll all be over in a couple of hours. And like my boot camp drill instructor used to say, "Gentlemen, if it's inevitable, you might as relax and enjoy it."

I'll try to relax ... but I probably won't enjoy it. :)

UPDATE: It was more "different" than I thought. I was in the chair for only 29 minutes from start to finish. All I can say is that my dentist is very efficient & believes in using the latest techniques. Miniaturized devices, painless, and done. I don't think I've ever used this word about getting a filling, but nice.

PioneerPreppy, it worked. Well done!  :^)

Wow I can't say I've ever had a painless filling... or an easy one for that matter. All mine turn out to be way worse than originally thought. Good for you! Glad it went so well and kudos to the dentist!!!

Rev. Paul,

Painless!!! Every time I go it hurts like .........

and costs a fortune with insurance.

I'm happy to see things went well for you.

Teresa, I'm sorry to hear that, but kind of excited to know that SOMETHING here in "the last frontier" is cutting-edge & (perhaps) better than elsewhere. :)

Sandy, thank you. No dental insurance covers very much these days, sadly.
