Bears, Eagle, and Foxes: Alaska Wildlife

Pics from McNeil River State Wildlife Sanctuary, Alaska:

Mt Redoubt (active volcano) from the air above Cook Inlet

Got one!

It's mine, and you can't have it!

This is MY fishing hole - go find your own!

You say "wait here and a fish will come?"  Okay ... I'm waiting.

... still waiting.

I'm tired of waiting! Where's the fish?

They're over here, silly. But you still can't share my fishing spot.

Call of the wild

Freedom!

Look, look, we're cute!

Whatcha doin'? Can I see?

Wow - I'm thinking Alaska is a much better place to live if you are a coyote. The ones around here look emaciated and raggedy. LOL. Love the eagle!

Those are fox kits, but still ... the chow's pretty good for critters. :)

Neat!

The bear photo at the top of your page is neat, too - "Just chillin' in my jacuzzi."

Thanks, PH! I like that header photo, too. :)

Nice to see a clear pic of Mt. Redoubt - the live cam shots are usually soooo cloudy - thanks for posting it!
