A Dearth in the Family

Read the title carefully, please.

Anyone who's glanced at this blog in the last two weeks can tell that I've been running on fumes. There's just nothing there.

I'll come back when I have something worth your time. In the meantime, there's plenty of good reading material - and food for thought - on the sidebar.

I'll be closed for bizness, for awhile.

Sorry to hear that my friend. Take a breather.

It seems a number of bloggers are taking a breather right now as well. Hope yours is short!!!

Take your time recharging with your wonderful family and enjoy your beautiful Alaska. We'll wait for 'ya! Just be thankful you don't have to come up with stupid stories about stupid chickens every day. See, don't you feel a little bit better now? :0)

Hey.
Your banner, alone, is worth dropping in for.
The only other blog I check on a regular basis is Marianne's who shares so many of my interests.
I enjoy bumping into you over there :)

Thanks, NFO. I appreciate that.

BP, your post this morning is what finally pushed me to step aside for awhile. Thank you.

Preppy, I never seem to stay gone for long, so we'll see.

Chickenmom, that's funny, right there. :)

Thanks, Cathy. And you probably will again.

Rev. Paul,

Enjoy your break and don't work to hard at work. Promise you'll take a sick (aka: fishing) day for yourself.

Rev. Paul said...

Thanks, Sandy. I'll take a day or nine, in a couple of weeks. :)

Thanks, Jim.

I just got back from a "break" so to speak. Two trips over two long weekends... whew - really takes it out of me. I'm not used to traveling that much. LOL.

Enjoy your break! I hope you come back happy and rested. :)

I've just read your report on the travels; sounds rather grim. :)

Thanks, Teresa.

Understood. Same problem here.

There does seem to be a lot of it going around, lately. Thanks, PH.

I've been in that boat since mid-July. Part of it's surgery rehab, part is family matters, part is hibernating season approaching and part of it's disgust with DC.

Only my recovery and football forces me to write anything at all.

Love the Daleks sign, BTW.

Understood, joated. And thanks!

Don't be gone long...and don't be a stranger around our blogs.

Rev. Paul said...

No worries, ML - I'll be around.

Sure do understand. This is a tough time of year to blog.

Agreed, threecollie. Many days it felt like I was simply repeating myself.
