'Bout the only thing new is that I finally broke down and got a cell phone of my own. I've been carrying a company cell for the last 10 years or so, but ...
... but I don't want to take a company phone on vacation. It leads people to think I'm still available, whereas the opposite is my deliberate goal.
My wife and daughters have phones already, so yesterday we added a fourth phone. And since they're having a special where all smartphones are free*, I wound up with a shiny new iPhone 5.
At least I have Siri to talk to, now.
* Free, so long as you sign a two-year contract.

Oh yes, those contracts.
Oh well, we're already paying for three phones; a fourth isn't that much more.
I am assuming Siri is some info thing on the phone?
Like I would know anything about iphones.
Siri is the name Apple gave to the female voice of the phone's interface, like the computers on Star Trek.
Rev. Paul,
Enjoy your new cell phone and lovely contract.
The contract's no big deal, really. At least we've not had any trouble with the other phones.
We still have the old style flip-the-lid phones. The little screen is getting harder and harder to see though - but it does fit in the back pocket of my jeans. And yes, I do have tons of pictures of the inside of said pocket....
Understood, Chickenmom. It will be difficult (if not impossible) to find a similar phone when that one wears out, though.
