There's no snow here.
South-central Alaska is about three to four weeks behind on snow. There should be five or six inches on the ground, but October was unusually warm - some 10 to 15 degrees above normal - and has gotten a lot of rain, instead.
So as we approach sled-dog racing season, area mushers are concerned. Here's a video on how some are dealing with it. (Sorry, but it can't be embedded here.)

As for the snow . . . I'll happily donate our up-coming December/January accumulations to any worthy cause:)
BTW . . The Cloud Appreciation Society has a neat pix of a solar halo over Anchorage:

LOL, Cathy! I'm sure we'll have snow by then, but it just might need the augmentation.
That picture is beautiful, and taken not far from where I live. Thank you!
Rev. Paul,
The weather has been a bit strange this year.
That's putting it mildly, Sandy (just like the weather, yuk yuk yuk). :)
A TREADMILL??? LOL, isn't that cheating??? Heh...
Probably, NFO, but since it's not a competition ... heh.
