Snowy Weekend, Part 1

We got roughly 5" of fluffy white overnight. Not too bad, considering the forecast. Accu-Hunch insists there's another 4" to 10" on the way this afternoon & evening, with totals of 8" to 16" across Anchorage.

We're in one of the parts that are forecast to receive the heavier amounts. Whatever; that's what four-wheel-drive is for. :)

We were up early, drank a pot of coffee, and took Younger Daughter to work so we could keep her SUV (us not having one at the moment).

Went out for pancakes & more coffee, did the grocery shopping & weekend replenishment runs, and now ... I think we'll make some more coffee.

Stop on by while it's hot, and I'll pour you a cup.

I like the way you think, NFO; I've got a feeling we'd track together quite well. :)

That would have been a great caffe klatsch, no? :)

I really like that cup! It's very inviting in it's announcement.

Wish I could claim credit for it, irontom, but it's a stock photo from the web.
