URGENT CALL TO REPENTANCE: All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord. And all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before Thee. For the Kingdom is the Lord’s and He rules among the nations. (Psalm 22:27-28)
There is a 1965 Mustang sitting in my SIL's garage. It's the car my husband was driving when I started dating him (it was his dad's car not his of course - LOL) ;)
Teresa, I had a '65 Mustang back in the '80s, which I bought from my sister. She abused the heck out of it, and I tried to make it right. Finally gave it to a high school automotive class, and they rebuilt it. Sorry your hubby can't get his hands on "his". :)
Kelly, I was thinking of you when I put this one up.
Thanks! I have a 1964 1/2, a 1966, a 1971, a 1994 and a 2013 here. They all represent many things and are intertwined with my life. They also have different personalities and needs, just like humans. Interesting really. It is a labor of love to keep them running. I do not have the resources of Jay Leno, but it was great to see Lee there in the interview. An awesome car guy!
Understood, Kelly. That 'Stang was one of only two cars I've had that made me proud to be seen in it. The other was a '68 Super Bee, but that's a whole 'nother story. :)
Agreed! Too bad we can't still get one for $4K, though. :)
Just started this and I will enjoy it I am sure. I had a '65 fastback HiPo, 4 speed, 389 RE which new was $3,500, but I bought it for $2,800 with 5K miles since the owner lost his insurance. Sold it when I went to Vietnam for $1,950. :(

That just hurts! I have tried to take care of some of them around here! I love them. Thanks for the post!

Oops - did you already post it, Guffaw? If so, sorry 'bout that. Just remember, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. :)

Mine was a 6-banger, but I still loved it. Always wished it was a 289, though.
