People of Wal-Mart: This Time, It's an Employee

Someone needs to tell this guy how snow works.

Absolutely amazing.

Agreed. Worst case of "I don't care" disease I've seen this year (so far).

Ya know I always take a different view when I see stuff like that. Yes it's stupid but having been reduced down to working so many mindless wage jobs for companies like Wallyworld over the last few years I recognize it as a symptom of the company and not always the stupidity of the employee. I was once told to use a chisel to scrap a paint line over 100 yards long off a concrete floor. I had an actual paint scraper in my car in the parking lot believe it or not and was told I was not allowed to go get it or bring a personal item into the plant period. I would bet I spent anywhere from 3 to 10 times more on that job using a 1" chisel to do it with.

Sometimes you just have to embrace the stupidity and put in the time.

Good point. If he was told to use the cart to collect the snow ...
Let's just say that it wouldn't be a surprise, either way.

Good thing the parking lot wasn't flooded......

I don't know, Chickenmom, but this kind of mentality would give the guy a colander to scoop out the water, too.

Rev. Paul,

Just amazing, can't fix stupid!

Rev. Paul said...

You're right, Sandy; whether it's the employee or management who decided to do that, it's still the same FAIL.

Maybe they called China and the big boss said to use cart and didn't realize the only cart was a shopping cart. Just a translation problem most likely.

Their HQ is in Bentonville, Arkansas, so it still could have been a translation problem. Heh.
