Not So Bad

So after a few brief showers and some serously loud thunder, the day has turned mostly sunny with a stiff breeze.

The shops & restaurants at the resort closed off their outdoor sections for a time, but have reopened. Even the more timorous touristas have ventured back outside to the pools.

I 've been enjoying the stiffer, cool winds and slightly lower temps; the ladies swam out past the breakwater and enjoyed being tossed about by the waves ... for awhile.

But now the week's activities have begun to catch up with us all. We've retreated to our room's lanai (used to be called a balcony, grumble grumble) for a fresh pot of coffee.

I hope your Saturday is to your liking; thanks for stopping by.

In 1970, just a few yards from the above pictured hotel, I sat on the beach and drank a full bottle of wine. I'd arrive early that morning. I spent the next full day of my very brief leave hugging a toilet....to this day I can't stand the sight of a bottle of Boone's Farm Apple wine. I did though enjoy the warm waters.
Enjoy the sun.

LOL, that's 'horrible' weather for Hawaii... Guess that'll be Bush's fault too...
