Now That I Have Interwebz Again ...

Arrived at work at the usual time (06:20) but didn't have internet until 10:15. Lovely stuff, trying to determine which of three modems, five routers or two switches was the culprit. Did I mention they're spread over two floors of the building?

Oh well, it's going now; that's all that matters.

We had a dusting of snow this morning, and at 5 am, the weatherman was predicting 1" to 3" today. Last time I looked out, it wasn't doing anything. But yesterday's 40 degrees sounds pretty good about now.

A few more tasks remain, at home. My new office suite:

will first resemble this:

and will have to be assembled. At some point this weekend, I need to prepare our taxes, too.

Not enough hours in the day, sometimes.

Very handsome!
Isn't getting organized wonderful?

I'm sure it will all be worth it, Cathy, but sometimes ... in the midst of things ... one has to wonder. :)

For some odd reason I've dodged the internet and computers for the last few days. Read and worked my butt off. Hey, I've this spiffy new screw-driver, has a handle with great grip and a shiny new blade...want to borrow it? Or, my old hammer. Keads understands. Proud to say our taxes are finished...thank the Good Lord.

Kelly, I've been down this road many times before, so not really worried about assembly. A gazinta B, etc.

Stephen, you haven't missed much on my end: just moving furniture, new carpets, and painting. I have lots of screwdrivers, too, but I thank you for the offer. :)

Reading back through the furniture moving posts. We are in the midst of moving our stuff back down to the basement now that the floors are in. Did the tv on Sunday. Realized yesterday our television had been upstairs for about 2 months! So happy to have it back in the tv room where it belongs and not hulking in the living room. LOL.

Sounds like your renovations are going nicely! Yay!!!

Made DAMN sure the instructions are there... sigh

Teresa, the work is done, except for the replacing or replacement of furniture. Woohoo!

NFO, you know it. Or as my oldest referred to them when she was five, "the destructions." :)

Rev. Paul,

Very nice looking desk. Oh my, you have to put it all together, nothing like working on a large puzzle :-)

Actually, Sandy, it's exactly like working on a large puzzle. Heh.
