Drug Law Violation
- Tam Nguyen, 45 yoa from Vietnam, arrested and
charged with possessing heroin, methamphetamine and cocaine with intent
to distribute, distribution of heroin, and illegal possession of a
loaded handgun. He was also charged with maintaining a
business/building for a drug enterprise.
Welfare Check - Complainant reported an individual staggering in
the roadway creating a hazardous situation. Officers were able to
determine that the besotted pedestrian had in fact made it home without
incident.
DUI - Officers discovered Jose Pacheco, 21 yoa from Texas, slumped over the wheel of his high-centered truck. Pacheco was arrested for two counts of Assault 4 on a Law Enforcement Officer, No Valid Operator’s License, and DUI.
Homicide Investigation - Officers responded to a local bar to investigate a
report of “man down.” Subsequent investigation revealed that Anthony
“Tony” Pouesi had punched Marlo Adams, knocking him out. Adams sustained
serious head injury when he hit the ground. Pouesi, 28 yoa from
American Samoa, was arrested and charged with Assault 2 and False
Information to a Police Officer. On 5/24/2014, Adams died from his
injuries. Pouesi’s charges were amended to include Manslaughter.
Welfare Check
- Individual reported someone sleeping in a Federal
building. Officers located the individual curled up on the floor
snoring loudly. Officer advised the slumberer that he must find another
locale to sleep.
Traffic Crime - Officers investigated a vehicle stopped in the
roadway. Investigation revealed that the car was driving slowly,
following a pedestrian. The Officers suggested the two take their
conversation off of the roadway.
