Police Blotter: Besotted Brothers & Mean Looks

Domestic Disturbance
Thursday 26 June 2014, 6:39 p.m.
Officers responded to the residence of the drunken brothers, wherein the two siblings were having a dispute about various minor issues. One brother asked officers to remove his SIM card from his sibling’s phone, and take his sibling to his room. Officers told the brother to collect his own SIM card and that the sibling could go to bed when he wished.

Tuesday 24 June 2014, 7:40 p.m.
A woman who had allegedly glared at a Safeway employee a few days earlier reported that the Safeway employee had been giving her mean looks.

Sunday 22 June 2014, 9:19 p.m.
Safeway employee reported that a woman with whom she had prior unpleasant experiences had glared at her earlier this day and asked that the incident be documented in case the situation should escalate. The employee advised police she intended to seek a protective order.
 
Assault
Saturday 21 June 2014, 1:07 p.m.
An intoxicated Catherin S. Sosa, 24 yoa, was arrested on one count of Assault IV-DV* after she threw a large rock at her ex-boyfriend’s head.

Monday 16 June 2014, 7:54 p.m.
Officer contacted the drunken brothers, one of whom called 911 to report that the other was “freaking out.” Neither sibling remembered phoning police, and stated there was no need for police assistance.
 
Drunk Disturbance
Monday 16 June 2014, 2:44 p.m.
Two drunken brothers reported that a drunken companion had threatened them by leaning forward in his chair and saying he would beat them, and asked that he be told to leave. An officer asked the companion to leave. He did.
 
Suspicious Person/Activity
Sunday 08 June 2014, 12:16 p.m.
Two individuals were contacted behind the Public Safety building. The two were looking for DMV and didn’t realize that, one, it was closed on Sundays, and two, the entrance was in the front of the building.
