Because Y'all Wanted Pictures

Here's Anchorage, this morning:

Looking east

Southeast

Looked to us like the snow only reached around the thousand-foot mark. Won't take that much more to reach us here in town.

Please. This Winter keep your temps where they belong.... Pretty Please :)

Preppy, we'd be thrilled if the temps drop & stay there. So we'll do our best!

Oh, well - at least the mountain tops are white.....
Maybe next time.

It's not far off now, Chickenmom. But thanks for pulling for us. :)

Brrrr... That LOOKS cold!

Rev. Paul said...

NFO, it really wasn't; was about 35° when I took those shots, and it's up to 39 or 40 now. Practically springtime! :)

Well . . if misery loves company . .:
We had sleet down here in central Ohio yesterday :(

I'd still put up with that if I could snag the right job up there. And I'm still trying.

Cathy, I'm sorry to hear that. We'd rather have snow than ice any time.

ML, I'm pulling for you - and if you do get here, I'll take you to dinner.

It dropped down to 32 degrees here in north-central PA this morning. It'll remain below 50 for the day.

It's overcast and chilly so I officially turned the heat on today. But even here, at 2100 feet, there's no hint of the white stuff...yet. Rather hope it waits until all the leaves are down. We don't need the headaches an early, wet snow would bring.

joated - you're 10 degrees warmer than we are, but there are too many leaves remaining here, too. We'd much rather keep the lights (and heat) on, thanks. :)
