Hmm

We used to have leaves. At least 30 or 40 percent of them were still on the trees this morning. This afternoon? Less than five percent remain. Been a bit windy, you see.

Now we enter the "bare & unbeautiful" phase of early winter, as we await the first snows of the season. Weather Underground is calling for rain for the next several days, and is predicting snowfall next week.

Isn't it bold of them to predict snow in October ... in Alaska?

Not mine ... but a guy can dream, can't he?

That was us last week, heavy winds and minimum leaves on some trees. We had frost this morning, had to scrape the car windows.

Rob, understood. We've had light frost several times already, too.

PUrty... except for that white stuff... :-)

Part & parcel of the territory, NFO. We like it, although I do admit it's not as much fun clearing snow as it used to be.

Just hope all those windows on that cute little house are double-pane!

Jim, they'd better be, or the frost/ice buildup will be inches thick. :)

Tell you what.
Here in Ohio . .they're predicting our first frost tonight . .
I am so not ready. Wish we could just fast-forward to spring :(

Cathy, I suspect everyone feels that way from time to time. But it's part of the normal cycle of nature.

And that probably doesn't help, does it? :/
