It's Saturday Morning

Older Daughter & a half-dozen of her fellow Appleseed instructors have headed to the range with various methods of turning dollars into noise. She's most excited about sighting-in her "new" Garand, but appears to have taken several other rifles, as well.

Given the company, I predict a highly-accurate outpouring of lead heading down that range. Let's just say I wouldn't give any OPFOR much chance against that crowd. :)

As per usual, Wife and I will be doing our weekly shopping, this morning. Nothing exciting there, I suppose, but it's all there is, for now.

The average temps in Anchorage drop five to ten degrees every couple of weeks, this time of year. We've been hovering in the low- to mid-40s for the last two. Sure enough, the weatherman is predicting daytime temps in the mid-30s for the coming week, with several mentions of "wintry mix", ice, and snow in the forecast.

Yep, it's late October in Anchorage. What else is new?

It's time - bring it on!

Rev. Paul,

How did your daughter do with her new Garand?

What an adorable picture of the dog.

Sandy,

She got 5 shots into 1.5" at 100 yards, on the second try. :)
