URGENT CALL TO REPENTANCE: All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord. And all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before Thee. For the Kingdom is the Lord’s and He rules among the nations. (Psalm 22:27-28)
We've been watching a show called Buying Alaska. Mostly we end up muting it (the narrator sounds like he's on crack), we watch for the scenery. They have a camera person who seems to be over the age of 12 and does beautiful work. This is unlike so many regular House Hunter shows where the camera is panned so fast, you get whiplash just watching. LOL.
NFO, I didn't forget about it; just don't have a photo. Last time we ate there was in the middle of a gully-washer thunderstorm that kept knocking out the power ... didn't want to stand in the heavy rain trying to get a photo.

So that reminds me. Does the Moon stay up for like months on end during the Winter like the Sun does in Summer?
Beautiful shots and gorgeous places, one and all.

Preppy, no it doesn't. But it does remain visible for hours longer, in summer.
Thanks, Teresa. We've watched it a few times, but since it's pretty much our backyard (grins), we like to see the little shacks & cabins.
Beautiful (and sometimes solemn) places!

Thanks, Guffaw, and agreed.
Beautiful. But since my nose is cold right now I'm leaning towards the Hawaii ones as favorites.
Thank you, PH - and I understand.
Sunsets and beaches. Waaaaaaah :(
And you've got your tickets. already . . . right ?
Why yes, Cathy, we have. :)
Would like to have a cabin on that Fish Lake ....
Been to Pikes, and I can't believe you left The Pump House in Fairbanks off the list... sigh
Chickenmom, it's a great place. :)

Rev. Paul,
I haven't been to Alaska, hubby always talks about his trip there. I've seen plenty of pictures and great looking fish from the lake at Talkeetna.
Great pictures, thank you for sharing.
