Hmm

It was -1° F. when we got up at 0600. As I sit here at my desk, the temp has dropped to -3. So you know what sounds good?

Pancakes.

I think we'll have cinnamon chip pancakes for breakfast. After that, maybe a run over to Cabela's. Who's with me?

:)

You lost me at -1°.

Steve - that's nothing. We've had -27 here at the house, and this is the warm part of southcentral AK. Hits -40° not too far north.

Just because we bought it from the Ruskies doesn't mean people should live there! :)

Pancakes and Cabella's is good no matter how cold it is outside!!!

It was, Preppy. And Cabela's was deserted. Only three customer cars in the lot, so just me & two other guys - and ton of eager employees. Heh.

Pan cakes sound good Padre, we had snow overnight, it was more like a dusting of flour. I see you are sending the cold weather our way next week. Thank you. It's winter and it should not be in the 30 or 40's LOL

Steve - we're all used to temps averaging 20 to 30 degrees cooler than those in the Lower 48, so -20 isn't a big deal here, and never makes the weathermen (or ladies) gush about the cold. Now if it gets to -30, we'd talk about how chilly it is. :)

Rob - the temps here will stay at or below normal for the coming week, so whatever you're experiencing isn't our fault. At least, not this time.

+1 on Steve... LOL

Yes, NFO, your aversion to cold weather is well-noted. :)

Pancakes are pretty much a cure-all, weather permitting.

Rev. Paul said...

gfa, I'm inclined to agree. And weather rarely interferes with pancakes. :)
