Whales & Northern Lights

I can't muster the enthusiasm to write anything this morning. There's nothing particular on my mind, so ... it's not you. It's me.

So here are some whales in Ketchikan (southeast Alaska, south of Juneau):

And 171 photos of the northern lights here.

Padre, just a quick note of thanks for the cold weather we are about to receive, a Late Christmas gift?

If you say so, Rob. It was a normal day here (high of 18°) but we're supposed to warm back up into the 20s or 30s for the coming week. We don't want it, but I'm glad the cold went someplace where it's appreciated. :)

Padre, its not appreciated at lest by me, but it wouldn't be winter in MN without it. I still remember a few years ago, the string of days below zero. I think it was back in the early 1980's before I worked at the airport and outside....Big Grin

Whales?
You're supposed to post pictures of cats.
Not that I like cats.

I like cats, Ed, but one doesn't need to travel to Alaska for that. :)

That reminds me...I need to call my sister. Thanks!

Law, I'm not going anywhere near that. It's all on you, buddy. :)
