I've had enough of this posturing, wrangling, contentious, bickering, name-calling Presidential race.
Few of the candidates seem to know how to even act Presidential, and the populist appeal is worn thin.
Candidates, you want my attention? Talk about how you're going to grab this runaway socialist train and steer it back in the direction dictated by the Constitution.
Tell me how you're going to do it, without the meaningless throw-away lines. Tell me how you're going to convince Congress to move in a Constitutional direction, to go along with your campaign promises.
Tell me you'll remember any of the promises you've made, the day following the election. Spare me the platitudes and claptrap. Spare me the empty promises, and the empty suit.
I believe you sincerely want the job. But tell me why I should believe anything you say, because I don't believe you.

Amen!
Just amen.
Thanks, Sarge. I knew it couldn't just be me. :)
The entertainment value has worn off. And disappointment with some folks is setting in.
Seems to me this is more like a group of third graders on the school yard than it is a race for the most important job in the land. God help us!
PH, that's a fact. I even enjoyed watching you-know-who confound his opponents by saying things that a candidate just doesn't say ... but the slogans ring hollow, and there's been no content to back it up. And the rest aren't much better.
Vicki, He's the only one who can.
Amen, +1 !
Sadly, these aren't debates. Not even discussions.
They are stump speeches, and not even disguised ones!
Some 'authority' should administer OATHS to these morons, prior to their debate appearances...
That'll show 'em!
:-)

Yeah, 'cause politicians NEVER lie after swearing in! Or something.
Perjury charges?
(I'm hopeful...)

Guffaw, a prosecutor would have to show willful intent to mislead, or something. Darn it.
