Tuesday Evenings

Dear Rev. Paul,

We know you blog, and have referred to a Facebook account, but how do you spend the rest of your time?

Signed, Curious

Dear Curious,

On Tuesday nights, I indulge an old habit:

But that's nothing new:

Long ago, in a galaxy far, far away (and many pounds lighter)

Now that is a pretty sweet hobby!

Thanks, Sarge; I'd have to agree. Starting playing in '69 and never stopped. It's kept me sane, helped me meet a lot of friends, and has sometimes been an obsession. :)

Kept you sane? So how do you define not sane...? :-)

How about "it's kept me from going any farther toward insanity"? :)

I knew you were always super cool.

Padre, wait until Obama comes after our music next or will it be ISIS? Same thing. I have downloaded just about every Beatles album on Spotify since they went online on Christmas.

Thank you, Brigid. That durn near made me blush. :)

Rob, I find myself not caring very much what he wants. He still has to enforce it, and that might not be such a light matter. (And the Beatles are a great choice, says the man who owns the sheet music to every song they wrote while a band, even if someone else recorded it.)

How long must we wait for a music video?????

I dunno, Chickenmom; you're the second reader to ask about that. We'll see. :)

Rev. Paul,

Great hobby to have. I used to play classical guitar when my dad was stationed in Spain (I was 16 back then). Loved it, I haven't picked up a guitar in over 30+ years.
