Quote of the Day

“I am thus far a Quaker, that I would gladly agree with all the world to lay aside the use of arms, and settle matters by negotiation; but unless the whole will, the matter ends, and I take up my musket and thank heaven He has put it in my power.”
~ Thomas Paine

Thanks, everyone. I think the best Quaker quote I've ever heard was from decades ago, in the Reader's Digest. A Quaker lady was T-boned by a driver who ran a red light. She was quite angry, although unhurt, and said to him, "When thee gets back to thy kennel, I hope thy mother bites thee!"

Think about it. :)
