Frothing At The Mouth

The local birdcage liner/fishwrapper is filled with some of the most ugly and vicious headlines this morning, screaming about "ceremonial president", "banana republic" and "imaginary and corrupt narrative".

I won't dignify their petulant tantrums by providing either their name or links to the articles. At least the name "Palin" isn't on the front page, this week.

Yes, they're still name-calling and sticking out their tongues at her. Frankly, the former Governor has been largely irrelevant for several years, but that hasn't stopped the local Progressive Left from driving the "We hate her filthy, stinking guts!" campaign into the ground.

So, because it's sickened me to the point of nausea, let's wash our eyes and ears out with the bear cam from the Katmai National Park:

Thanks Rev!

The bears and people have a most excellent arrangement in that location. The bears have learned that the people will not approach or compete for salmon, and the people are restrained by the railing on the observation decks. It's a shame that not all tourists are so respectful of grizzlies.

Wow thats an awesome link, thank you.....however it did not cheer me up to see the temperature on one of the webcams at a wonderful 59 degrees! Those bears sitting in the river look pretty dog gone happy!

Fiona, our weather started turning cooler yesterday, and it's only 58 here today. Sorry 'bout that. :)

Thanks, Rev Paul. The Decorah Eagle cam is done for the season (sniff) so it will be good to have something new to watch!
