A tractor-trailer hauling beer wrecked on the Glenn Highway on Tuesday morning, spilling cases and kegs along the roadside and slowing traffic.Ken Barkley, director of emergency services at Mat-Su Emergency Services, said the crash at Mile 106 of the Glenn occurred shortly after 11:30 a.m.
"A truck rolled over and spilled its beer," Barkley said.
You can read the whole story at the link, above. But sometimes, these stories write themselves. :)

And the mad rush starts in three... two... :-)
"Truck 214 to dispatch ... I thought you said there was a cleanup needed at Mile 106. There's nothing here."
Ahhh nothing like a beer spill!
We did have a semi-load of Mccain French fries roll over one winter near the truck stop I worked at. The heavy recovery truck said they needed hazmat because the squashed frozen potatoes made the highway like a greased pig! [He gave me a carton of bags that he had got....french fries for years!]
Fiona - LOL! That potato spill sounds amazingly messy; glad I wasn't on the clean-up crew. :)
I always hate to hear about alchohol abuse.......
I'm sure there were plenty of sympathetic rescuers who were happy to commiserate.
