After the Election: A Warning

As I was recently praying concerning the elections and all that has been transpiring in our country, the Lord quickened my heart concerning our stance in prayer afterward. Let me preface what I am about to say with this: this is not about WHO was elected, but WHAT goes on during the next several weeks.

What was quickened to my heart and spirit was how important it is to be praying during this next several weeks, generally called the “lame duck” period. The Lord impressed me that there will be NO LAME DUCK period and it is imperative that the CHURCH continue to pray for this country and our leadership; that we bind any spirits that would seek to put in place laws, regulations, etc. that would have an ill effect on this country, manipulating things that will go on after our next president is sworn in office. It was almost as if I could ‘hear’ the enemy conspiring to do so and feeling they would be able to because the Church had quit praying because the elections were over

I really sense there will be an attempt to do so BEHIND the scenes and it is vitally important that we come against any plans of the enemy in this regard. Let us not be lulled to sleep by complacency but continue to ‘man our prayer stations’ and call forth the plan of God for this great country of ours. The outgoing administration could be up to all sorts of horrid mischief, especially given how clearly they dislike the United States and our traditions.

Again, may God bless America - and may America bless God again.

Right now my prayers are prayers of thanks, and prayers for guidance for our newly elected President and those who will be on his staff.

I haven't prayed this much since I was a child.

And I like how you appended Wild Bill's "America...Bless GOD to your message....

Jim, I was saying the same prayers yesterday, and even this morning - before I received the warning I've reproduced here. 15 minutes after I posted this, a ministry friend send a nearly-identical warning via e-mail. When multiple men and women of God get the same message with a warning involved, it pays to listen closely.

Victoria, I don't mind at all; it's a great compliment. Thank you for the kind words. :)

Oh, yeah. I think all hell is going to break loose over the next couple months both figuratively and literally.

Amen and very appropriate.

PH - I think that's the reason why the Lord is handing out these instructions to so many: to keep the evil from rising up. If we pray according to His will, it will restrict the amount of damage that evil wants to do.

Thank you, Terry.

Indeed; I believe the "protests" we're seeing are a prelude to the manifestation of the "If we can't have it, no one can!" mentality, so commonly displayed by such groups as "black lives matter." The silence of the lame duck in the White House concerning in the face of the actions of these people gives credence to this.

God told me several years ago, that this country will survive, and will come out of the coming crisis stronger than it went in. He didn't tell me what the crisis was; only that it would turn the world on its ear.

Prayer is our strongest weapon. Fire at will, and until the barrel melts down!

Rev. Paul said...

Pete, it's pretty clear that you're correct on the protesters' attitude. When everyone gets a trophy for showing up, no one learns how to deal with defeat.

Yes, I too believe firmly that the USA will survive this crisis, as the Lord has made that very clear recently.

We are in the most dangerous period now. Enemies foreign, domestic and demonic will use the transition period to inflict maximum damage to the nation. Keep praying indeed.

I have been thanking the Lord. Now I will do my best to pray for the blessing of America and Mr. Trump.
Thank you, Reverend.

May God bless us all in these coming days.

Rev. Paul,

We need to listen to all the warnings.
Thank you for sharing :-)

You're welcome, Sandy. Obedience to His word is always key.

remember, the electoral college is not bound by law to vote the will of the people.
what great cauldrons of evil have been planned for this period of time if 'she' didn't get elected.
ready to be poured out in all their sulfurous stench upon the nation.

Rev. Paul said...

Deborah, I must disagree to an extent: failure to follow the will of the voters is illegal in 29 states, although the penalties aren't excessive. But I guarantee there will be repercussions if the electors try to change the outcome, and I fear it would include gunfire.
