I Don't Remember Romney Supporters Rioting

in 2012, when he was defeated by the current occupant of the White House (to whom notice has been given), but those who believed that a President Hillary Clinton was somehow their birthright:

That "You get a trophy whether you win or lose" thing is working out about as well as expected...

SAY.... Aren't these the same snowflakes who criticized Trump when he didn't give a definitive answer as to whether he'd respect the outcome of the election?...

The very same. The same class of folks who bitterly chastised the conservatives/Tea Party/mainstream Repubs for not immediately embracing Obama. They called us racists.

Now, of course, they're still calling us racists, because clearly we only voted for Trump to delegitimize Obama's many accomplishments. Because, equally clearly, Hillary Clinton is a black woman.

Oh, wait.

Special snowflakes, indeed.

Oh I protested, I laid on the floor in my living room and had a tantrum but in private as to not make a fool of myself in public. Yesterday I celebrated again in private, I raised a cup of coffee to GOD and thanked him for his guidance...

To be fair, Rob, I was speaking of public demonstrations. I'm sure that many a choice word was spoken in private, in '08 and '12.

And nobody flipped over cars and burned them or shut down freeways when McCain/Palin lost, either.

Please fasten your seatbelts, check your six, and keep your powder dry. It's going to be a bumpy ride for a while.

Jim, you're probably right. I don't expect much trouble up here, as Alaska is still fairly insulated from most of what goes on in the Lower 48. But not entirely, so we're remaining in Condition Orange.

I am going to share this on facebook, and then ask God to forgive me, because I was mean.

Thank you, Reverend. I hope you all stay warm and have a blessed weekend. ♥

Reverend, it just reminds me all the more that we really have become two separate groups of people living in one place, separated not by race or religion or economic status but rather by political belief and a difference in what the nature of "freedom" really is. It saddens me, but I find myself a bit heartened as well. This sort of behavior convinces me that no amount of debating or words will change them, and so there is little reason to engage in the discussion. We need to be about doing things, of putting ideas into action. Let the argument be about the nature of results - making peoples lives better versus destroying them.

The lines are drawn. In a sense, we simply need them to be highlighted.

It is truly disturbing to see this kind of behavior, petty and childish tantrums. If Hillary had any morals or strength of character she #1 would not have sent Podesta to speak to her supporters when it got so late and #2 She would speak to her supporters as graciously as Trump spoke of her and stop this dreadful behavior.

People only want to hear good things and not what they maybe NEED to hear. A good father is not always a friend to his children but he does what they need done...even if that means they cannot have everything they want given to them. When are people going to realize that government is not the answer and take personal responsibility for themselves. Again I rant.
Take care and be safe!

Fiona, I agree. My girls needed a dad when they were growing up. Now that they're grown, I can be a friend & mentor. But there's a time & a place, and some people never grasp that.

And how many of these protestors have grown up in one parent families? That is also a sad legacy of the progressive party.
All the better to let the state raise them. Before and after school programs, head start, etc.

We will keep praying and hope that order can be restored.
