URGENT CALL TO REPENTANCE: All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord. And all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before Thee. For the Kingdom is the Lord’s and He rules among the nations. (Psalm 22:27-28)
Haha. Too true. We have always had cats, even when I was growing up. Hubby grew up on a farm. The only time we didn't have cats was basic and tech school. Well, when we went to Okinawa we didn't have cats, either; but we came back with a dog... We have 5 cats now, living in the house hubby grew up in. Dairy farm died in the 70s as so many did. I still call it the farm, though, even though it is only a small fraction of what it was before. With snakes and rats and mice and all the other critters that come with farmland, the cats mostly have a good time.

Oh yeah. Been there, done that, haha!
Linda, I hear you. If that's not been your experience, then you've not served a feline master. :)
