Something New Has Been Added

Half of all Americans are applauding this morning, and the other half are wondering exactly how it happened ... but a real President of the United States delivered the best address of his life last night.

Rather than a dramatic reading in stentorian tones by one who is good at delivering a speech to partisan supporters, a statesman appeared at the podium, and addressed all of us.

While 95% of the nation's news commentators (I won't call them journalists) figure out how to downplay the significance, he did something that hasn't happened more than once or twice since the Reagan era: he made everyday Americans feel optimistic.

Well done, sir, and thank you.

I didn't watch, as history has not shown him to be a great orator.
Based on your recommendation, I will watch on YouTube.

Hopefully, he will continue to get coaching on how to speak, act, be Presidential.
(Of course, this won't matter to his detractors.)

And, hopefully, the 'swamp drainage' will continue. :-)

Guffaw, it was widely acknowledged both last night, and again this morning, that he gave the best address of his life last night. It's worth the time.

Yeah, there's a man who's got his priorities straight.

How shell-shocked do you think congress and the leftward press are going to be when he keeps the promises he made in this speech?

Wing - in a word, VERY. I think that's part of their problem, and the reason why they think he's unpredictable. He's doing what he promised, and who would have expected THAT? :^)

Amen. We wait and hope. And pray.

And amen to that.

My biggest fear with Prez Trump is that he will complete his list of promises, and then what is he going to do for the last 3 years? Lol.

I thought it was a very good speech, I'd give him a B+ as he still has some room to improve with using the teleprompter, but practice does make perfect. It was great seeing the Dems sitting there with their jaws on the floor. I don't think many of them ever listened to him speak...just to the MSM snippets that get put out and twisted all around. Gonna be fun to see how the Dems spin this one. Pass the popcorn.

Suz, I suspect there'll be little rest for Pres. Trump, even if you're correct. There's plenty for him to fix, unfortunately.

Popcorn's just about ready. :)
