Another Sunday Quote

"If you love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

~ Samuel Adams

Excellent quote. Now, what do we do with the folks in power who wish to yoke us all once more?

An excellent question. I wish I had an equally excellent answer.

Whoa Sam! You tell 'em. Should we have this quote sent on a banner to our White House??

I don't know that it would do any good. The government's ongoing attempts to disarm the populace spring from their fear of an armed revolt, in the first place. Which, of course, is why the 2nd Amendment was included in the Bill of Rights, according to Thomas Jefferson - a guard against "tyranny in government."
