Rev.,Thanks for pointing us to that blog and article. My hubby and I have often talked of pulling our little patch of land out of N.Idaho and becoming sovereign. Then it was back to reality. Oh well.
There are now some 21 or 22 states considering some version of the "obey the Constitution or butt out" legislation, Alaska included. I hope this can be settled peaceably, but I haven't noticed Congress offering to be "reasonable" in many years.
Is it just me or does Montana look a lot better today. Let's hope they never actually have to resort to it. I used to say secession could never happen, but I think our Republic is changing.
Agreed. I think Montana has always been appealing, but it's one of the few states I've not visited. I'm proud of their legislators for standing up, though. Good for them!
