It has been an okay week - not too bad, but nothing particularly special until today.
My wife has been out of work for several weeks, but landed a really good one today, and starts Monday. Woo-hoo! I feel a steak dinner coming on!
It was sunny all day today, and the freezing rain that was mixed with yesterday's snowfall wasn't too much of a problem. Just the same, several dozen drivers managed to prove it's still possible to ditch-dive if you aren't paying attention ... or just act stupid. Just sayin'.
The Iditarod kicks off tomorrow. I'm still debating whether I want to be downtown at 8:00 a.m. to find a parking place ... or just watch it on TV. It's televised on ESPN up here, folks: I wish you could join me. Snacks and soft drinks are on me ....
It's supposed to be in single digits overnight, but sunny & 25 tomorrow. The range is calling my name ... Paul ... Paul ... lots of shooty goodness ... come to me ...
Snacks and soft drink? No steak dinner? Congrads to your wife :)
ReplyDeleteTell you what - if you can make it here by starting time (10 a.m.) I'll buy you the biggest steak or halibut meal you can eat!
ReplyDeleteAnd my bride says thanks!
Doesn't look like I'll be able to make it by 10am. Thanks anyway :) Good luck and safe journey to all.
ReplyDeleteYes, congrats to Mrs.Rev.Paul!Job hunting is the pits so I bet she is really relieved. The single digets sound good to me. It's almost like summer here. (I am ready to get back up to our cabin in farrr N.Idaho!!)
