I just hope that they are prepared to sit it out. Most who venture into the bush know how to survive
austere conditions. Let's hope so...

I hope and pray that the weather will abate and they can travel to safety. I went to Alaska once (one of many visits) to watch the start of the race one year. An incredible feat for those that participate.

There was a discussion yesterday centering around their known food supply. One guy had little left, but the others had a two-day supply, and those commenting were hoping that those folks were all together.

If the wind/snow lets up a bit, they could be airlifted out of the pass - but the storm appears to be raging in nasty fashion, according to the Anchorage weathergal.
