What postage stamp do you use in Alaska?
Why does the mail go to Arkansas instead of Alaska when you put AK in the address?

Those are the 2 my DH said were his most common questions/complaints from when he lived there. And, yes, you are lucky to live there. :)

Suz, it's the same first-class stamp as anywhere else in the U.S. And yes, mail is occasionally misdirected to Arkansas, among other places.

Interesting about the jewelry stores. It is odd how things like that happen.

TB, perhaps not, given the number of gold mines up here.

Rev Paul,

Love your new blog header, great picture. Just had internet installed yesterday at our new place out in the country, talk about totally different compared to living outside a town. Speed is so much slower, and working from a satellite dish grrr.....

Interesting poster!

Sandy, it's nice to have you back. Congrats again on the new place, and perhaps you'll be able to do something about the 'net speed. Thanks for the kind words about the header. :)

IF she is lucky, she may be able to get Suddenlink. We got all excited a couple years ago. Thought we could finally get rid of AT&T DSL. There are 2 Suddenlink markers right outside our gate.

But they are cell phone fiber optic cables. Not internet cables.
That is the only thing we miss about NC. Cable service.

It is a cute poster. :)
