We have a lovely 16 degrees, and there's a dusting of snow - certainly less than an inch - that fell overnight.
Accu-Hunch says we'll get up to 20, and is guessing we'll get a few inches of snow today. None of the forecasts agree on how much, which tends to mean we'll get quite a bit. They are forecasting (foreguessing?) blizzard conditions to the south of here, on the Kenai Peninsula. "They" say Homer could 6"-7" this afternoon.
Either way, we'll have some fresh snow for Christmas, with slowly falling temps after today, or so they're predicting.
UPDATE: The snow didn't start until after lunch. While it's snowing steadily, the flakes are small, so the accumulation may be light. Dang it.
Apart from that, we're all hoping for a quiet day today. I have a few invoices to distribute to my tenants today, but not much else on the agenda at present. That can all change, of course. I've been having some issues with the timer on a mag-lock entry door - it admits some folks, but not some others. I'll probably spend some time poking around in that program, trying to figure out why.
Politics:
The local news is devoid of any noteworthy political content, other than the ongoing farce that the Senator Ted Stevens trial is fast becoming. One of the FBI investigators on the case has told the judge that there was significant misconduct on the part of the prosecutors, along with receiving undeclared gifts.
Since that's what Sen. Stevens was tried for, he is now asking the judge to set aside the verdict. I suspect he's on the right track; it remains to be seen whether the judge agrees.

"foreguessing"--Love it! I may have to start stealing that, too.
Goes well with "Accu-hunch" which I've already pilferred.
I noticed your references to Accu-Hunch in a couple of recent posts, and I don't mind at all. We're all here to help each other, after all. Carry on!
(See? It's not pilferring if you have permission ...)
