I picked up this year's Christmas present for me, this morning. It's impossible to buy a gun for someone else, so I got my own.
I called around town to get the best price, and found only one dealer with one in stock. I left work for 45 minutes to go get it before it was gone, too.
The guy at the store was very helpful, and gave me some handy information while we chatted. I decided to jumpstart the giving (as long as I was there) and checked for the ammo I'd decided I should use with this gun.
Lo and behold, the ammo shelves were three-quarters empty ... the guy told me that people started buying in large quantities "at 4 p.m. on election day." He said powder & other reloading supplies were going even faster.
I believe I may have to use up my allowance for the rest of the month, and buy some more while I can.
