It's official - last year was colder than normal.
An article in the Daily News - here - confirms what most of us already knew. Last summer was the coolest since 1999 (and July was the 3rd coldest ever, since they started recording our weather in 1915, with an average temp of 53.5 degrees).
The summer months (May through August) were the coolest since 1982.
