It's minus 5 this morning. That's 17 degrees warmer than Wednesday morning, but still 15 degrees colder than normal.
The good news is that it's getting warmer, albeit slowly. The bad news is, if -5 is an improvement, your problem may be worse than you're willing to admit.
Has anyone sued Algore for fraud yet?

We're supposed to be sub-zero midweek. That's a wee bit below average for north-central PA. Lows at teh Adirondack Bolt Hole might even reach minus 10. That usually doesn't happen until February.
Thanks to the writhing of the jet stream, the Lower 48 - or at least the eastern half of it - gets dose of arctic air as we warm up. The NWS is guessing we'll have mid-30s with a rain/snow mix by mid-week. Let's see ... rain/snow, ground that has been exposed to sub-zero temps for two weeks ... VOILA! instant ice! What fun driving will be!
