Good morning. We're slightly warmer than yesterday - it's only -17 at our place. It's probably too soon to call that a warm-up ...
The Daily Noise continues its on-going bashing of Gov. Palin. Not content with blaming her for the Republican loss in November, it appears she's now responsible for the housing market slump, Wall Street crash, the Great Depression, and the Lincoln assassination.
They are reporting that the arrest of Levi Johnston's mother was delayed for "political reasons." I'd go on a rant here, except the whole thing is exceedingly tiresome & I find myself weary of the continued finger-pointing. It seems that since she was cleared of wrong-doing in the so-called trooper-gate "scandal," they must now try to find something else for which to blame her.
The Dept. of Public Safety has declared the preceding accusation to be nonsense. They didn't even get the warrant until early December, which (according to my calendar) was well after the election.
The local radio personality who fancies himself a Rush Limbaugh clone is declaring today that 2009 will be the year in which Alaska discovers that Sarah Palin has warts.
Could we just get on with our lives, please? I am sick & tired of name-calling and the pointing of fingers. There are bigger issues than this; let's move on.
The world doesn't need any more self-styled victims. What say we make 2009 the year in which we re-discover personal responsibility?

With the Democrats in charge? Not bloody likely!
I know. But I can dream, can't I?
Sarah Palin is a threat to the liberals because of her accomplishments and popularity. She will be under attack from here on. Thats the way the leftists play the game. Truth doesnt matter and the ends justify the means.
