Good morning, folks!
It's 13 degrees at the airport, but they must have relocated during the night, as it's -6 at my house. We have another heavy frost, and scraping is once again the order of the day.
AccuHunch tells us we'll have sunshine again today - and I hope it's brighter than the weak light we had yesterday. Tomorrow, another snowstorm moves in.
The local news is dominated by a sad story: a little girl lost three fingers in an escalator accident at one of the malls. Her coat got stuck, apparently, and she was trying to tug it loose as it "ate" the garment, and then pulled her hand in, too. Quick-thinking shoppers hit the "off" button, and began prying the step apart in an effort to free her. Paramedics arrived about that time (excellent response time) and helped get her out of the predicament. I think every parent in Anchorage must have very large lumps in their throats, over this one.
It will be a busy day at work today, with an important meeting scheduled for noon. All things considered, I'd rather be at the range, but the paycheck beckons.
So have a great day, be of good cheer, and remember all things must pass! You know, the Bible contains a number of stories beginning with "it came to pass..." Just remember, it didn't come to stay!

weather nice here on sweetthing's half acre for now...80F this afternoon. I am planning on a couple of hours at the range next week..need to burn up some old 9mm and a brick of .22
We got up to 9 above at my house, but it's supposed to drop right back down tonight. My biggest problem with that is that the range closes at 5:45, which doesn't leave much time for any shooting after work.
