Uh, excuse me, but I do not believe it is
"unprecidented". Susan Butcher won three times in a row: 1986, '87, and '88 And Doug Swingley got three in a row: 1999, 2000, and 2001.

Surprisingly, Rick Swenson did not get three in a row despite winning five times.
