Good morning out there!
Mt. Redoubt erupted again, last evening, and the ash fell in the same area as earlier in the day - north and northwest from the volcano's location. Anchorage & the Kenai Peninsula have been spared ... so far.
The Weather Service tells us the winds are expected to change, late today & into the night. Ash fall from any eruptions then could approach Anchorage.
The final Iditarod musher has crossed the finish line in Nome, and so the 37th Iditarod passes into the history books.
I'm kinda-sorta caught up on sleep. At least I'm not a walking zombie this morning; just tired. Tired enough that I could probably fall asleep again, if I sit still for more than a few minutes. Oh, well.
Speaking of ash fall, it does make me glad that there's still snow on the ground. It keeps most of what has fallen from blowing about. At least until the snow melts, anyway.
I'll keep you posted on the volcano, etc. Have a great day, folks!
