NASA just released a report which states that any warming that's taking place is precisely because of anti-pollution regulations enacted in the 1970s.

B...b...but the science is settled! Don't be a denier! It's CO2 that's to blame! And it's all man's fault. (Wait a minute. That last one could still be considered true. Rotten Earth Day!)
But it can't be our fault - our high school rings had earth symbols on them! We participated in the first Earth Day! And everything!

The church of GW is gonna howl over this one. Those NASA scientists better hide because Father Al is gonna come looking for them and run them through the inquisition for this heresy .

Teresa, I'm probably older than you, and remember the predictions of a "new ice age" back in the 70s quite well. We were more concerned about Paul Erlich's "Population Bomb" book back in the early 70s - but then ALL his predictions wound up being false, so I figured all the other predictions probably were, too. It was the beginning of wisdom, I think!
