Transformers, Terminators & Replicators, Oh No!

Don't these people watch TV or movies?

Fox News has a story about DARPA developing "'programmable matter' that could reshape itself to fit any situation", and says "the technology would be robots that reshape themselves to adapt to specific jobs or conditions, aircraft wings that morph for more efficient airflow, uniforms that change density and coloring according to environment, and even "Terminator 2"-style liquid-metal robots that flow through cracks and small openings."

The scientist who appeared on Fox two mornings ago stated that individual blocks could build more blocks like themselves.

This never turns out well.

he he. Transformers? Now you lost me. Who is Jack O'Neil? Anywho, your comment (on my blog) about already achieving the aged look cracked me up. You're right!! Maybe we can just put a clear coat on it now. It still needs to be sanded though.
I'm using the dogs blog right now. lazy me, Cassie

Cassie, Jack O'Neil was the name of the Air Force officer who headed up the primary team on Stargate SG-1, the show which "invented" replicators. Insatiable machines with artificial intelligence which consumed everything in sight to make more of themselves.

Nasty little bugs ... the Jack O'Neil character always figured out a way to defeat them.

Aha~Now my Patrick would have known that. I used to find him talking to the tv screen telling Jean Luc Picard or some other space man how to fix their ship!

Patrick's a wise fellow, to analyze the repair of technology which hasn't been invented yet! My hat's off to him!
