Warm Summer Afternoon

Greetings! It's sunny and 68 today, which is warm for us. I didn't say 'hot', and don't want my friends in Arizona to send me indignant messages ... LOL. 68 sounds like a cold snap to them; in fact, to anyone who's been suffering temps in the 90s or above. It's just warmer than we've been experiencing, that's all.

We did have a heavy shower earlier this afternoon, but it passed quickly & the breeze has dried things nicely. Beautiful weather; just lovely!

I had a delightful lunch meeting with a fellow conservative blogger today. We sat outside & chatted for nearly an hour. Check out As the Fireweed Turns and tell upinak I sent you!

Come to think of it, sitting outside for lunch is a treat by itself, given how many months of inhospitable "summer" weather we've had, the last few years.

That's about it - it's a great evening, and Younger Daughter has just popped a "personal pizza*" in the oven for me. Yum!

Deedee - I figured you and/or Cassie would let me know how hot it was in Phoenix today. All I can say is, "I'm glad I'm up here!"

The weather, lunch, and supper pizza were ALL good. All in all, a right enjoyable day!

Was recently in your wonderful State on a Mission trip to Moose Pass, Ak. Had a great time, both my boys were in our group and I loved the weather! Cool! A bit rainy! Even some snow up on the mountains!! Great time working on our project, hiking, fishing and enjoying your great State! Lots of tyvek and blue tarps though!!
