There's not much going on here that isn't splashed all over the national news, but I'd look for Fox News to have the least amount of 'spin' administered to Sarah Palin's comments.
I'm still getting questions from Lower 48 friends about "what's up with Sarah?" as if there were some secret known only to Alaskans. Well, read on.
There's a line of reasoning that states, "the simplest explanation that fits all available facts is usually best." Here's what the main-stream media (bless their darling hearts and empty heads) will never get: she means what she said.
Sarah Palin is surrendering the governorship because it's the best thing for Alaska.
The press will NEVER understand that there are still a few people in public office who are not professional politicians. Those few are performing what they believe to be a public service, with a servant's heart. They're not in it to make money, nor to win riches and acclaim - even where that's possible (like Chicago, among other places).
Some are doing this because it's in the interest of their community, town, or State. Such is Sarah Palin. She had a number of things she wanted to accomplish; she has either accomplished, or at least started, those things.
She went as far as she could ... then the Dimocrits and their willing accomplices in the MSM ganged up to stop her. Applying Alinsky's Rules for Radicals, they took the ethics laws that she sponsored and began using them against her.
Those cronies have effectively tied the Governor's hands, paralyzing her staff with day after day of requests for documents, copies, reports, and composing replies to ethics complaints from literally only a handful of people. It's my understanding that a couple of people submitted multiple complaints, including the guy ... must be charitable (/teeth grinding) ... who filed another complaint against her yesterday.
As a private citizen, Ms. Palin will be able to say, go, and do whatever she wants. Look for her to start making the talk show rounds, doing a lot of public speaking, and campaigning for conservative candidates across the country.
If you thought Governor Palin was a ball of fire, wait until you get a load of Sarah Palin, private citizen.

Amen
Grinding your teeth is the road to huge dental bills :)
On to our Sarah:
Within 2 hours of her resignation speech, Friday, I had an email from one of my sibs in Nebraska.

Hey, what is Sarah going to do now? If she wants to run for president; I am there!!
----
To understand the impact of this statement, none of our sibs are politically savvy (as such). There was something about Governor Palin that grabbed everyone's attention.
So, it has been said... "If she wants to run for president; I am there!!"
Thanks for keeping us "up" on the Sarah news. All our news has been on Michael Jackson :( Have you ever had the opportunity to meet Sarah Palin? Maybe as a private citizen, she could travel around the US and see how many of us support her.
