More Good Eating: Fruited Scones

and bacon!

YD pulled out Brigid's recipe for fruited scones, and decided to experiment.

Instead of currants, she substituted peaches apricots (oops! my bad), freshly-ground ginger and cinnamon. Since we had no whiskey for the glaze, she used rum extract. And of course there was bacon. It's the law.

Okay, it's my law, but we ate well.
