We have another Christmas party to attend tonight, at the 5-star hotel downtown where my wife used to work. As a treat to ourselves, we booked a room for the night. Just because.

My back hurts worse this morning than yesterday at this time, most likely because I insisted on going to work yesterday. I took a double-dose of pain pills while ago, and those should be kicking in soon. At least I hope so; it would be nice to walk today.
