The guy who was suspected of shooting the APD officer yesterday put a gun to his own head last night, when approached by officers, & turned a possibly-dangerous arrest into a suicide. Meanwhile, Officer Jean Mills remains hospitalized, but "is recovering from surgery and her prognosis is good, but she faces a long and difficult recovery."
